Copyright-Free Dubstep Mixes for Streamers (NCS and Beyond)
NCS releases tracks under a license streamers can use, but it is not a dubstep label. Read the upload license every time before you go live.
Table of contents
NCS is an electronic music label covering multiple genres, including dubstep. Its policy allows independent creators to use its catalogue on YouTube and Twitch, including monetised content, with the required attribution. Brands, games and films have separate licensing arrangements. That permission does not clear third-party songs included in a mix.
What NCS actually is
We are not inventing a 2026 NCS dubstep chart. The channel’s catalogue mixes styles. Your job is to filter for the bass you actually want, then confirm the license still matches how you stream today.
Beyond NCS: what you cannot treat as free
UKF Dubstep, UKF, and DubstepGutter are promo channels, not copyright-free libraries. A 2022 Ticket Fairy piece called UKF Dubstep and DubstepGutter the main dubstep promo channels then. That is history, not a 2026 subscriber ranking, and it is not permission to rip a mix into a monetised broadcast.
To find those channels without fake URLs:
Use them to discover music. For streaming that music live with monetisation on, you need a license path that is not “I found it on YouTube.”
SomaFM’s Dub Step Beyond is a listener-supported, commercial-free radio stream from San Francisco. It is built for listening, not as a blanket sync license for your Twitch VOD. The station page is somafm.com/dubstep. Press play for your own ears. Do not treat a free radio stream as cleared music for a paid broadcast unless the station’s own terms say so.
Spotify editorial Dubstep and Riddim playlists move. Open Spotify search for dubstep, check the update date on any playlist you follow, and remember Spotify playback in a stream is a separate rights problem from listening alone. We are not naming playlist IDs because lists move.
A practical streamer checklist
Before you go live with bass under your mic:
SoundCloud searches for dubstep mix and riddim mix are discovery tools. Many uploads are not cleared for your stream. Contact the uploader or use a library that states streamer terms when you need to go live.
What this guide will not do
It will not invent a free mix tracklist. It will not crown a “best for Twitch” pack we did not audit. It will not pretend Beatport’s Dubstep top 100 is a free-to-stream list. That chart measures sales on Beatport. Buying a file does not itself grant broadcast or synchronisation rights; any necessary public-performance licensing depends on the venue and jurisdiction. Your home stream is a different deal.
If you produce your own dubs and want them heard, that is a different article path. For discovery of the live scene, the agenda sits at /soirees/. For the magazine’s production notes aimed at beginners, see /news/5-tips-for-getting-started-with-production-by-samplifire/.
Open ncs.io, search bass, read the license on the track you actually queue, and keep the credit line ready before you hit Go Live.
