Best Riddim Mix 2026 (No Filler)

How to find a riddim mix in 2026 that stays at 140 without filler: YouTube filters, SoundCloud digs, and what Beatport’s Dubstep bucket cannot tell you.

Riddim is what this magazine calls a prominent style in our editorial coverage in 2026: 140 BPM, simple structure, half-time weight. A “best riddim mix” title still does not get a fake tracklist. It gets a filter that cuts filler, plus the places that still post full sets.

What counts as riddim here

A common starting point is 140 BPM, with some contemporary tracks around 150 BPM. The snare sits on beat 3, so the body hears a 70 BPM pulse. Half-time is that feel, not a second genre. Trench is the word pushed by the German producer Infekt: OG riddim, original codes of that style rather than later melodic or colour variants. Tearout is the harder, more chaotic end of festival dubstep, distinct from trench. Liquid riddim is calm riddim, still underground, more SoundCloud than Spotify editorial. Filters that remove filler

On YouTube, set length to roughly one hour (45 to 75 minutes). Prefer 2026 uploads. Prefer continuous mixes over premiere channels that talk between songs. Start at UKF Dubstep search and DubstepGutter search. UKF the site (ukf.com) stays the editorial home. A 2022 Ticket Fairy piece called those two the main dubstep promo channels then. Do not present 2022 subscriber math as a 2026 ranking. Neither channel “wins”. Pick UKF if you want the write-up with the premiere. Pick DubstepGutter if you want a lot of uploads. Subscribe to both if you are hunting new music.

Skip videos that cut a new drop every thirty seconds. That format is built for clicks, not for a dancefloor pulse. If the title says “1 hour riddim” and the waveform shows hard resets every track with voiceover, leave it. SomaFM has no ads; YouTube does. For a gym hour that needs continuous weight, that difference matters (gym method).

What charts and radios get wrong

Beatport’s Dubstep top 100 measures Beatport sales. It mixes riddim, melodic bass, and festival dubstep in one Dubstep bucket. It misses SoundCloud-only dubs, radio shows, and songs that never went to Beatport. Useful as a DJ shop signal. Bad as a pure riddim gym hour.

SomaFM Dub Step Beyond describes its programme as dubstep, dub and varied bass music. Current tracks and listener totals change continuously; use the official song history to inspect the current selection.

Live proof for heavy festival riddim-adjacent booking in 2026 includes Lost Lands sets such as INFEKT b2b Samplifire (documented in EDM.com’s review coverage). Artist month pages already filed this year include Svdden Death, Virtual Riot, Eptic, Excision and others under /artistes/. Those pages are not a riddim chart.
