Best Free Dubstep Radio Stations 24/7
SomaFM, Rinse, and Uturn as free streams you can leave on, with what each one actually plays and what it will not.
Table of contents
A free 24/7 dubstep radio in 2026 means a stream you can leave open without a subscription. Three names hold up under that bar. None of them is a pure festival-riddim jukebox all day. Treat the title as a starting list with a date, not a permanent crown.
SomaFM Dub Step Beyond
SomaFM Dub Step Beyond is commercial-free and listener-supported out of San Francisco. The station page says “Dubstep, Dub and Deep Bass. May damage speakers at high volume.” Its about text focuses on bass music and says it tries to play more than Skrillex-style music, naming Bassnectar, Tipper, JaFU, Phutureprimitive, Opiuo and Flux Pavilion.
SomaFM Dub Step Beyond describes its programme as dubstep, dub and varied bass music. Current tracks and listener totals change continuously; use the official song history to inspect the current selection.
That profile matters. This is a deep, eclectic bass stream. Older UK names sit next to mid-bass and producers the about text names explicitly. It is a poor fit if you want current festival riddim all day. Web player: https://somafm.com/dubstep/ . Full take: /news/somafm-dub-step-beyond-still-worth-streaming/.
On speakers: the station’s own warning is not a joke. Phones and laptop speakers hide the sub. A home subwoofer or headphones that still have weight under 40 Hz will show you whether the stream is worth leaving on. Closed-back headphones keep the room quiet if you are mixing or working.
Rinse FM
Rinse FM is London radio. It started as a pirate and has been on air legally since 2011. It was a historical dubstep home for Skream, Youngsta, Hatcha, Kode9, and later shows. In 2026 it is still a multi-genre station: garage, grime, dubstep, house, jungle. It is not a 24/7 dubstep jukebox.
Use it when you want a show slot, not wallpaper. Open https://www.rinse.fm/ and read the schedule. Bassweight’s blog posted on 12 March 2026 about an Alix Perez Rinse show from 25 February 2026: https://www.bassweight.net/1985-music-with-alix-perez-2-25-rinse-fm/ . That post is proof of how Rinse still hosts bass-adjacent shows without promising a single genre all day. Bassweight itself is a blog, not a radio station: https://www.bassweight.net/ .
Uturn Radio
Uturn’s dubstep page at https://www.uturnradio.com/dubstep lists Laurent Schark live Fridays at 21:00 GMT-5, Nicko Vibe Saturdays at 15:00 GMT-5, and DJ Bahanos electro house mixtapes. Directories disagree between Québec and Ottawa. Do not call it the Montreal club calendar.
How to pick one for the desk or the gym
Leave SomaFM on when you want continuous bass without ads and can live with older or deeper selections. Open Rinse when a named show matters. Sample Uturn live if the Friday or Saturday slot lines up with your timezone, then decide from the hour you hear.
YouTube and SoundCloud are not radios. They fill holes when the stream drifts. A 2022 Ticket Fairy piece called those two the main dubstep promo channels then. That is not a 2026 subscriber ranking. If the radio drifts into melodic EDM and you wanted riddim, switch. The magazine calls riddim a prominent style in our 2026 coverage: 140 BPM, simple structure, half-time weight. Trench is Infekt’s word for OG riddim codes. Liquid riddim stays underground on SoundCloud. Map: /en/what-is-dubstep/.
