Table of contents
A “best festivals” list for 2026 that invents lineups and VOD links is useless. What this magazine can print is the big annual bass weekends we actually checked: Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, Wakaan, and Dream Nation in France. Dates below are verified. Artist grids are only as deep as our sources.
Lost Lands 2026: the live peak on file
Lost Lands ran 18–20 September 2026 at Legend Valley, Thornville, Ohio. Ninth edition. Founded 2017.
Excision played three sets: a Friday two-hour solo close, Sunday Detox (downtempo), and a Sunday b2b with Space Laces. EDM.com’s review and lineup coverage also named ILLENIUM, Subtronics, NGHTMRE, Liquid Stranger, Ganja White Night, Seven Lions, Eptic, Wooli, Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, FuntCase, Borgore, Levity, TYNAN, SLANDER, ATLiens, Sullivan King, Ray Volpe, Virtual Riot, Space Laces, Zomboy, Krewella, Crankdat, Flosstradamus, and ALLEYCVT.
Special sets named in the review: Subtronics b2b LEVEL UP (Leveltronics), ALLEYCVT b2b Crankdat (ALLDAT), Eptic b2b LYNY, Sullivan King b2b Ray Volpe, INFEKT b2b Samplifire, Adventure Club throwback, and FuntCase b2b Doctor P. Wooli, Seven Lions and ATLiens drew sunset crowds. Wednesday early-entry and Thursday pre-party existed for campers.
DJ Mag reported that the 11pm–3am closing slots were cancelled after a severe thunderstorm warning, a temporary evacuation, and a second evacuation. The Excision b2b Space Laces scheduled 9:40–11pm went ahead before that second evacuation. Excision and his wife Emma also announced they are expecting a girl during one of his sets.
Couch Lands is the festival livestream. We do not publish a stable VOD url list. Search the set on YouTube and prefer the festival’s own channel once the VOD is up. Set guide on this site: /news/excision-lost-lands-2026-sets/.
Bass Canyon and Wakaan
Bass Canyon is Excision’s Gorge weekend in Washington. Our reporting says it followed Lost Lands in 2018, and he played it in August 2026 before Lost Lands. We are not inventing a full 2026 Bass Canyon grid here. Treat it as the other large Excision-led outdoor bass weekend on the US calendar.
Wakaan is Liquid Stranger’s event. Our September piece says Wakaan 2026 runs 1–3 October 2026 (pre-party: 30 September) at Mulberry Mountain, Arkansas, with Of The Trees, Getter, Doctor P, Whethan and Flux Pavilion named. Liquid Stranger is also our November artist of the month (page).
These three weekends cover different flavours: Lost Lands as the dinosaur-stage festival dubstep peak, Bass Canyon as Excision’s Gorge follow-up, Wakaan as the Liquid Stranger / melodic-adjacent outdoor lane with bass names on the printed list we have.
France: Dream Nation on the agenda
Dream Nation 2026 is on our agenda for 30–31 October 2026 (ending the morning of 1 November) at Parc des Expositions de Villepinte. two nights; the organiser’s description lists 20:30–06:00, while Shotgun’s event header ends at 06:15 on 1 November. Event page: /soirees/dream-nation-festival-2026-villepinte-2026-10-30-525342/. Tickets: Shotgun. The bass names are not on our event page yet. Read them on the ticket page.
Another 2026 France date already filed: Rampage x Poney Club, Blagnac, 28 August 2026 (event). Club and boat rooms in Paris, Lyon and Montpellier sit on /soirees/, not on this festival list.
How to pick a weekend without a fake ranking
If you want maximum festival dubstep density and documented special b2bs, Lost Lands 2026 is the weekend this magazine actually reviewed through EDM.com and our own Excision file. If you want Excision’s Gorge format, Bass Canyon is the name. If you want Liquid Stranger’s mountain weekend with the artists we named, Wakaan is dated through 3 October 2026. If you are in France in late October, Dream Nation is the dated ticket, lineup still to be read on Shotgun.

Dream Nation: announced programme
The official event spans two nights, 30 and 31 October 2026 in Villepinte. The organiser’s ticket page lists Flux Pavilion, Modestep, ECRAZE and Graphyt on Saturday’s Bassquake stage. The stage covers several bass styles; the festival as a whole is not exclusively dubstep.
The official Lost Lands site now features Excision’s two-hour 2026 solo set. For other replays, check festival and artist uploads: a performed set does not guarantee an available recording.
The official calendar for Bass Canyon confirms 14–16 August 2026 at the Gorge in Washington.
